Brief introduction

LI YING is an Associate Professor of English and linguistics with interests in modern theatre and English literature at Beihang University. She received her Ph.D in English literature from Shandong University in 2006. She worked as a post-doctor from 2009 to 2012 at Shanghai International Studies University. He worked as a visiting scholar at Tulane University in 2011 and at Curtin University in 2010. For the past 10 years, Dr. Li has worked on cognitive approach to modern theatre and American literature with a long-term ambition to establish a new branch of studies in literary criticism i.e. Cognitive-psychoanalysis. She has been the author of more than 20 journal articles and 3 books.
